Pat Eddery a Jockey, a Legend

On the 18th of March Patrick James John Eddery was born in Dublin, Ireland. During his career he won 14 British classics, 11 Irish & 9 French classics. He won the Epsom derby three times! Pat was Quite simply the ultimate professional he made very few mistakes just like Ryan Moore nowadays. He forged partnerships with powerful trainer Vincent o Brien and owners Robert sangster & Prince Khalid Abdullah. Pat won 11 champion jockey titles including one in Ireland. He rode some great champions during his career such as Grundy, El gran senior, Pebbles and most famously of all Dancing brave. His greatest moment was partnering Dancing brave to victory in the Arc. Last turning into the home straight he wasn't in the camera shot until 200m to go victory seemed unlikely! But Eddery then unleashed Dancing brave's exquisite turn of foot and powered to victory by One and a half lenghts! Pat will be remembered as a great jockey but an even better man.

Treve Tribute- Not Just A Mare, A Legend

Treve the tremendous bows out of racing today (04/10/14) after finishing 4th in her 3rd L'Arc De Triomphe. Treve is not 'just a horse' she is a phenomenal horse with all the attributes of a Legend. We may never see the likes of 'The Queen Of Longchamp' ever again. I rate this mare as one of the best horses in the world, not only that but one of the greatest racehorses we have ever witnessed on the track. She can be mentioned in the same breath as Frankel, Secretariat, Red Rum, Nijinsky, Mill Reef and many more. She is most possibly the best female racehorse ever.

Me and Glen wish The Tremendous, spectacular and runaway, Treve a very happy retirement and many happy memories to come with her offspring! Good Luck Treve and have a great time!
